Flatland reporters have been tracking housing insecurity, evictions, affordable housing and homelessness for years.
In the past two years, Flatland has made a concerted effort to dig deeper to better understand root problems and the impact on the Kansas City community. Then at the height of the pandemic — which continues to rage today — these issues and solutions have become even more urgent.
That was the focus in “Houseless in KC,” episode 2 of The Flatland Show. In response, many of our viewers sent in questions that sought even more information on leadership action, available resources and whether transportation has a role to play.
