Earmuffs!

Potty-mouthed celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay was in town yesterday to celebrate the opening of his new steak restaurant at Harrah’s North Kansas City, and he generously carved out some time for Flatland.

Ramsay covered a lot of ground in a short time. The clear highlight was his, shall we say, pointed comments on other cities that try to co-opt the term “Kansas City Strip.” He touted the growing role of vegetarian options on his menus. He also elaborated on the crucial role that music plays in creating great restaurant ambiance.
