Elizabeth Stehling makes films. Beyond that, she skirts pigeonholes.
At the moment, though, she’s taking advantage of the stay-at-home order prompted by the COVID-19 outbreak to collaborate with her husband on a film about their new baby.
“All of my ideas start with drawings. So it’s more of just a feeling, or an emotional sense that I want to communicate,” Stehling says. “Things are usually left pretty open-ended and unresolved… Someone described my work as emotional landscapes.”
