A single film can change your life. Just ask Sav Rodgers, the filmmaker behind the documentary “Chasing Chasing Amy.”

“‘Chasing Chasing Amy’ is a coming-of-age documentary about my real life against the backdrop of Kevin Smith’s 1997 film ‘Chasing Amy,'” Rodgers said. “I saw the movie when I was 12 years old as a queer, closeted kid in suburban Kansas. And it radically changed my life.”

Rodgers’ film charts his changes as he documents the people who created the film that inspired him. In doing, so he finds himself.

Simply put, Rodgers contains multitudes.

Chasing Chasing Amy” has become a hit on this year’s film festival circuit. To learn more, watch the attached video.
