Just a few short months ago we offered a sneak peek at “Ted Lasso,” a new show starring local hero Jason Sudeikis.

The show is based on a fish-out-of-water premise with Sudeikis playing an English soccer coach with an odd football tie to Wichita State University.

Now we’re back to celebrate Sudeikis winning a Golden Globe as the best actor in a TV comedy series.

“That’s just nuts,” the ever-modest Sudeikis said in receiving the award.

In honor of his big win, we’ve updated our feature on “Ted Lasso” for your viewing pleasure.

You can catch up on the 10-episode season on AppleTV+, and then congratulate Sudeikis in person at the next Thundergong!
