Local Pig and the City Market make a dandy match.

The Local Pig butcher shop and Pigwich, its sister restaurant, deal in sustainably raised animals, which are a fine fit with the city’s largest weekly farmers market.

“Sustainable agriculture is the backbone of what we do,” says Alex Pope, owner and executive chef. “We source 100% of our proteins from small family farms right around here.”
