Kansas City boasts one of the nation’s largest Pride Parades. Flatland was there on Saturday to document a huge turnout for this year’s exuberant parade in video.

“This amount of support, at a time when we’re seeing so much hate in Missouri and Kansas, tells you what this community is all about,” said Kansas City Mayor Quinton Lucas. “This show this is a community of love and acceptance, and one of the greatest places to be.”

One marcher captured the sentiment on Saturday succinctly.

“Love wins. Love always wins.”
