You know that onesie you bought for Christmas? Get it out of the drawer and head to Rhythm & Booze (423 Southwest Blvd). It’s hosting an adult onesie party this from 7 p.m. to 3 a.m. Friday. Not a onesie person? You can trot out your ugly Christmas sweater at the 403 Club (614 Reynolds Ave., Kansas City, Kansas). The 403 Club is hosting an Ugly Sweater Pinball Tournament at 5 p.m. Saturday. The tournament is hosted by Oskar Blues Brewery, which means you’ll be drinking some Dale’s Pale Ale. Not an ugly sweater person? How about an Ugly Holiday Sweater Dog Party? Bar K (515 Liberty St.) is hosting the celebration of pugliness from 7 to 10 p.m. Saturday.

Holiday shopping is more pleasant with a glass of wine in hand. KC Wineworks (1829 McGee St.) is hosting a Handcrafted Holiday Pop Up from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday. April Madden Studio, Dolyn Bags and Lucia’s Sarto [see their story below] will be among the handmade vendors. In addition to wine by the glass or bottle, they’ll have cider on tap and mulled wine.

Brunch doesn’t stop at the Neighborhood Cafe (7531 Wornall road) in Waldo. Bottomless brunch is from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. You can indulge with or without bottomless mimosas and bloody marys.

Find kitchen inspiration at the Friends of the Library’s 11th Annual Pre-Owned Cookbook Sale from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Plaza branch (4801 Main St.) of the Kansas City Public Library. The books run the gambit and are all priced under $15.

Meshuggah Bagels has a new location in Liberty, Missouri. The bagel shop is open at 205 S. Steward Road in the Liberty Commons development. The eatery is open from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Another Meshuggah is in the works in downtown Kansas City at 13th and Walnut and is slated to open in 2018.

Take advantage of fresh produce at the Overland Park Farmers’ Market’s Indoor Holiday Market at the Matt Ross Center (8101 Marty St., Overland Park, Kansas) from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. You can get veggies, but also feel free to lean into the holidays with pie or handmade crafts.

Foodies need love, too. The KC Foodie Festival is  from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at iWerx (1520 Clay St., North Kansas City, Missouri). Jude’s Rum Cakes, Crane Brewing Co., Paradise Locker Meats and the Yummylicious Cookie Company will all be on hand. Tickets are $5 in advance or $10 at the door.

Upgrade your bar with a single grain whiskey from Koval. The Chicago distillery will be at Cellar Rat Wine Merchants (1701 Baltimore Ave.) from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday for a tasting. If you stop by the Crossroads wine and spirits shop, check out the oat and millet whiskey.

Love, Coffee (813 SW Lemans Lane, Lee’s Summit, Missouri) is a new coffee shop. It’s a full-service coffee bar that serves up some original creations like a white chocolate mocha or eggnog, pumpkin pie or maple spice latte. There’s a drive-thru attached to the cafe, as well.
