St. Aubyn named as CEO of Research Psychiatric Center

 HCA Midwest Health System has named a new administrator to head up psychiatric services at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Mo.

The health system announced Tuesday that Lisa J. St. Aubyn will take over as chief executive officer of Research Psychiatric Center, which is a campus of the medical center. She succeeds Richard Failla, who is retiring.

The center  has 100  beds, according to a news release, and Research has an additional 25 beds in the hospital, in addition to two outpatient clinics in Missouri and a 10-bed GeroPsych unit at Cass Regional Medical Center.

St. Aubyn comes to Research from her role as regional vice president for the HCA Behavioral Division, where she oversaw 10 behavioral health programs in the North and West Florida divisions.

Her previous experience includes working as an executive at CPC College Meadows Hospital in Lenexa and as an outpatient therapist at Heart of America Family Services in Kansas City, Kan. St. Aubyn received a Bachelor of Social work degree from the School of Social Welfare at the University of Kansas where she also earned her Master of Social Work degree.
