Boulevardia returns to the West Bottoms this Friday and Saturday, adding carnival rides, big name concert artists and of course, plenty of beer to the historic birthplace of Kansas City.

This year’s festival will feature an expanded Silent Disco where dancers enjoy themselves with music piped into wireless headsets and a couple of new attractions, a cornhole tournament sponsored by KC Crew and Yard House, and a cocktail party at The Campground featuring Boulevard’s Fling canned cocktail lineup.

“We are so excited to return to the Stockyards District for our 2019 festival”, Nathan Matney, Boulevardia president, said in a statement.

“Each year we continue to reimagine elements of the festival to build upon previous year’s successes, and we look forward to bringing back all the beer, food, music and fun for our sixth year this weekend!”

The live music lineup on the Boulevard Main Stage includes an 8:40 p.m. Friday performance by LA-based Fitz and the Tantrums, followed by Young the Giants at 9:40 p.m., according to a release from organizers.

On Saturday, DJ Jazzy Jeff will perform at 7:10 p.m.followed by Lovelytheband at 8:20 p.m. Dashboard Confessional will close out the festival at 9:40 p.m.

There are 50 acts overall ranging from local bands to national acts performing at three stages: the Boulevard Main Stage, the Spanish Gardens/Guys Stage and the Propaganda3Stage.

Admission to the two-day festival is $30 per day in advance, $35 on the day of the event. That ticket gets you onto the festival grounds, all music and entertainment acts, access to food trucks and merchandise, including the Makers Market featuring top independent craftspeople from the region.

Special experience tickets also are available for the Taps & Tastes Experience, Father’s Day BBQ Brunch (on Saturday) and the VIP Experience. Details are here.
