Want to rock out over the Christmas weekend? Radkey and Kadesh Flow will play their respective holiday gigs on Saturday night. Drinking and skating with elves is another option.

Friday, Dec. 22

7:30 – 9 p.m. How well do you know the classics? Weston Wine Co., 540 Main St., will host Christmas Movie Trivia on Friday evening. “Elf,” “The Santa Claus” and “Home Alone” are among the films that will be included in the competition. Build a team of between two and six members. Tickets are $7 and include three wine samples. You must be 21 or older to attend.

8:00 p.m. Priscilla Presley – An Unforgettable Evening at Knuckleheads, 2715 Rochester Ave., will bring firsthand accounts of stories only she can tell to the East Bottoms stage. The evening will feature an intimate conversation with Presley, sharing stories of the good old days and family home footage of Priscilla and Elvis Presley. It’s $119.50 to get in the door. A meet and greet is available for an additional $150.

8:00 – 10 p.m. Skate into the holiday break with Elves Night Out at Cable Dahmer Arena, 19100 E. Valley View Pkwy. The 21 and over ice-skating party will have a live DJ spinning holiday tunes just off the ice, food truck giveaways, bars pouring specialty drinks and more. A $20 ticket includes skating and one free drink.

Saturday, Dec. 23

11 a.m. – 9 p.m. After years in a food truck, Wolfepack BBQ, 910 E. 5th St., is officially parked in its first brick-and-mortar location in Columbus Park. Whether you are giving it the Kansas City barbecue ranking treatment or entertaining an out-of-town guest, Wolfepack’s menu offers all the classic cuts, their sweet and tangy sauce, plus sides like garlic cheese curds and white cheddar mac and cheese. Be sure to check out catering options online.

6 – 8 p.m. Down from the North Pole one last time before the big night, Santa will hit the Summit Ice, 120 N.E. Chipman Road, on Saturday. Skate with Santa in Lee’s Summit will provide the chance for kids to submit any final Christmas list additions before Santa makes his rounds. Sharing the ice with Santa is $11 for non-residents and $8 for Lee’s Summit residents. Skate rental is $3.

6 – 9 p.m. Slip into something hideous and celebrate the gifts that are local music and beer during The Night Kadesh Stole Christmas Ugly Sweater Party at Vine Street Brewing Co., 2000 Vine St. Kansas City’s first Black-owned brewery has more than a dozen beers on tap. Live music will come courtesy of Kadesh Flow and The Deshtet. The ugliest sweater gets a prize. There is no admission fee.

6 – 11 p.m. Sar-Ko Aglow at Sar-Ko-Par Trails Park, 87th Street and Lackman Parkway in Lenexa, should amp up the holiday spirit. Walk along miles of light strands and colorful displays reflecting off Rose’s Pond. Best of all, admission and parking are free.

7 p.m. Over at recordBar, 1520 Grand Blvd., local music legends Radkey will put on their annual X-MAS Evil Eve show, featuring The Ugly Cowboys and The Utilitarians. Tickets are $19.83 online in advance. Expect a service charge if you pay at the door.

Sunday, Dec. 24

10 – 11:15 a.m. Happy Holiday Flow at True Love Yoga, 3545 Broadway Blvd., is making space for a break in the hustle and bustle Sunday morning. Designed to drop expectations and “just be” for a bit, attendees will be led in a yoga flow and meditation before light snacks and cheery music to wrap things up. Reserve your spot for $20.

Noon – 5 p.m. If you’re still scrambling to stir up something to feed the family on Sunday, consider the Christmas Eve Dinner To-Go from Rye Leawood, 10551 Mission Road. All you need to do is select a pickup window and decide between beef tenderloin, a rack of lamb or prime rib dinner. Entrees are served with green beans, mashed potatoes, rolls, butter and your choice of sauce. The dinners are $275 each. A shrimp cocktail tray and whipped goat cheese appetizers, plus pies can be added on. Be sure to check out the full menu online.
