(Courtesy | Limitless Brewing)Limitless Brewing is celebrating the holiday season by opening a new facility at 9500 Dice Lane in Lenexa. First, though, the brewery will be hosting one last party at its current location a few blocks away.
Limitless will be hosting a celebration at 9765 Widmer Road this Friday. The festivities will feature live music from Double Take Band from 7-9 p.m. and food from Point & Flat BBQ from 6 p.m. until they sell out. Limitless will then use the following week to move into the new location.
The official grand opening party at the brewery’s new Dice Lane location is on Sunday, Dec. 11, also featuring Point & Flat BBQ. Limitless also will be hosting an earlier sneak peek at the new spot for anyone who’s sponsored a plant, tree, or shrub through the brewery.
To help sweeten the deal, Limitless has announced a new Dice Club membership. The Dice Club will feature perks such as two full pours every month along with a four-pack to-go. Limitless will also throw an exclusive year-end party for all members. Annual membership in the Dice Club will run you $299, or roughly $25 per month. You can purchase a membership at the brewery or through their website.

Beer Releases
Tall Trellis Brew Co. — 25600 W. Valley Pkwy., Olathe, Kansas — channeled an inner Italian spirit to create Bawnjorno. The beer is an Italian-style pale lager hopped with Triumph hops from Kansas Hop Co. It comes in at an easy drinking 5.2% ABV. Tall Trellis highly recommends ordering the beer using an Italian accent!
Rockcreek Brewing Co. — 5880 Beverly Ave., Mission, Kansas — is rocking a brand new double hazy IPA. The 8% ABV beer, named All of the Lights, was brewed with Mosaic and Nelson Sauvin hops. Aromas of grapefruit fill your nose along with even more citrus flavors of sweet orange, grapefruit and white grape. It finishes smoothly and easily.
Callsign Brewing — 1340 Burlington St., North Kansas City, Missouri — released its winter seasonal, Gma Got Mulled Over. This seasonal brew is a bit of a mash up. It’s part lager, but infused with mulled apple cider. It comes in at 6.4% ABV and is a great beer to help warm you up this holiday season.
Sandhills Brewing — 5612 Johnson Drive, Mission, Kansas — just released a big Black Friday stout. Simply dubbed BBL Stout 2022, this 9.8% ABV beer spent nine months in Heaven Hill bourbon barrels. The finished product is bold and rich with flavors of chocolate, vanilla and bourbon. It’s available on draft and in 375 milliliter bottles, but is incredibly limited so get some fast!
3Halves Brewing Co. — 110 E. Kansas St., Liberty, Missouri — is kicking off the holiday season with a new hazy IPA. Part of their “Friendly Banter” series, Crosstalk comes in at 7% ABV and has huge tropical notes. You’ll get lots of mango, orange and pineapple on the nose and in the body of this juice bomb.
Strange Days Brewing — 316 Oak St., Kansas City, Missouri — just released a brand new stout in 750 milliliter bottles. Concrete is a big 10% ABV imperial stout with Madagascar vanilla and lactose. It’s rich and decadent with plenty of vanilla and roasted flavors. Strange Days also has three very limited variants of this beer available on draft — coffee, peanut butter/brownie and oreo/banana.
Torn Label Brewing Co. — 1708 Campbell St., Kansas City, Missouri — decided to differentiate themselves with their Black Friday beer release. With just about everyone else releasing a big stout, Torn Label opted to release a new barleywine. The 12% ABV barleywine is a well-balanced blend of flavors ranging from toffee/caramel to dark fruit and vanilla. Pouring a beautiful mahogany, this beer is a sipper.
Beer Events
Saturday, Dec. 3
KC Bier Co. — 310 W. 79th St., Kansas City, Missouri — has an exciting holiday event planned that will be fun for the whole family. The brewery will be hosting a Saint Nicholas Day celebration that coincides with the release of a doppelbock. The day will feature holiday movies, a holiday-themed selfie station, free hot cocoa for kids from noon to 3 p.m. and more. The event is free to attend.
Servaes Brewing Co. — 10921 Johnson Drive, Shawnee, Kansas — is throwing a holiday open house and beer and cookie pairing event. The day will feature a self-guided pairing that includes four beers with four cookies from Suzy Belle’s Sweets. You’ll also have the opportunity to purchase cookies to take home. Servaes will also be launching 12 beers of Christmas boxes during the event.
Crane Brewing Co. — 6515 Railroad St., Raytown, Missouri — will be celebrating its seventh anniversary. The brewery will be throwing a little birthday party for themselves in the taproom. The event will feature the release of Anniversary VII, a stout. Crane will also have food available for purchase as well as live music from Simple City, a duo that plays pretty much any and every type of music.
Sunday, Dec. 4
ExBEERiment — 925 E. Lincoln Lane, Gardner, Kansas — wants you to wear your ugliest sweater to their taproom during the brewery’s ugly sweater contest and cookie exchange event. Each attendee is asked to bring at least two dozen cookies and copies of your recipe. Everyone will then be able to take home a bag of cookies and new recipes to try. The ugly sweater contest will begin at 2:30 p.m.
